Marvin Skorman has a Masters Degree in clinical psychology and has been a practicing psychotherapist for 26 years. He worked at the Rochester Mental Health Center from 1980 to 1986 and has been in full time private practice since then.


He received core group training and supervision from Dr. Davanloo for 4 years and has served as the Treasurer of the International Institute for Teaching and Research of Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and as Director of Training for the Rochester Institute.


He has conducted in service training in DISTDP at college counseling centers, treatment facilities, and other agencies and organizations.


In addition to individual psychotherapy his practice includes couples counseling and management consulting. His special interest is applying Dr. Davanloo's approach to couples and to human organizational development.
